SAP Program Manager

We are looking to hire a key member of our IT team at our Global Headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas or in Jacksonville, Florida.

The SAP Program Manager will lead and oversee SAP Operations, ensuring system stability, performance, and reliability. This role will manage AMS providers.

Technical Leadership

• Provide expert-level guidance for day-to-day SAP operations.
• Ensure SAP systems' stability, performance, and reliability.
• Oversee SAP infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Manage integration technologies (PI/PO), troubleshooting, and production support.

Vendor Management

• Manage AMS provider relationships, contracts, and performance.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs and coordinate issue resolution.
• Manage and supervise contractors on SAP projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards.
• Facilitate communication between contractors and internal teams.

Project Management

• Plan, execute, and deliver SAP projects on time and within budget.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Monitor and adjust project progress as necessary.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends.
• Drive innovation and efficiency in SAP operations.
• Understanding of SAP security best practices.
• Manage SAP integration with printers, mobile technology, scanners, labeling machines, etc.

SAP Performance Management & Quality Assurance

• Ensure the quality and performance of all SAP-related development and interfaces, managing the documentation, specifications, and lifecycle of custom developments.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, including debugging and log analyzation.
• Use tools like SAP's Code Inspector (SCI) and ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) for static code checks.
• Oversee SAPSCRIPT, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms development and maintenance.

• 7+ years experience with minimum 5 SAP implementations
• Extensive experience in SAP administration and technical support, inclusive of RISE with SAP.
• Proven track record in managing AMS provider and vendor relationships.
• Strong project management skills with experience overseeing contractors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Understanding of Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
• Working knowledge of networking and firewalls.
• Scripting knowledge of Bash, Powershell, or Python is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field of study from an accredited college/university.
• Or High School Diploma + 4 years relevant experience
