What you'll be doing... As the Senior Manager of Channel Marketing & Communications, you will support all frontline communications for Verizon's indirect and national retail partners. You'll be responsible for ensuring clear, effective and timely messaging that supports product launches, promotions and executional reinforcement for partners and their sales teams. This role is critical in aligning messaging with sales priorities while ensuring that indirect and national retail partners receive the right information at the right time to drive sales and engagement. Key Responsibilities:
Own the strategy and execution of all indirect and national retail frontline communications. Oversee the distribution strategy to ensure partner sales teams receive information in a timely and effective manner. Ensure alignment with sales enablement goals and partner engagement strategies. Develop messaging frameworks that provide clarity and executional reinforcement for partner teams. Work closely with national and local teams within the Channel Marketing and Communications team to develop and distribute channel-specific communications Partner with the national and local communications teams to ensure seamless alignment across all frontline messaging. Lead the development of partner-specific content, including newsletters and enablement resources. Continuously refine the communication process for efficiency, effectiveness and impact. Track and measure engagement on partner communications, adjusting strategies based on insights and feedback. Implement best practices to streamline partner-specific messaging, content approvals and execution.
*In this role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days (VCG in office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) What we're looking for... A strategic and execution-focused communications leader with experience in frontline sales enablement and partner engagement. You should be able to simplify complex messaging, drive cross-functional collaboration, and create impactful communications that enhance sales performance. You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience or specialized training. Six or more years of experience in communications, sales enablement, or partner marketing, preferably in an indirect or national retail environment. Project management experience to oversee multiple initiatives and ensure timely execution. Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and business teams to align messaging strategies. Strong understanding of digital distribution tools (email platforms, internal communications platforms, Workvivo, etc. Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, managing multiple priorities at once.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
A Master's degree. Strong writing and messaging skills with the ability to translate complex business priorities into clear, actionable frontline communications. Experience working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. Experience working with national retail or indirect sales partners in a communications or sales enablement role. Familiarity with Workvivo or other internal frontline communication platforms. Background in digital content strategy, analytics, and engagement tracking to measure the effectiveness of communications. Experience managing a communications team or mentoring junior team members in a high-volume environment
