What you'll be doing...

As the Director of Experiential & Segment Marketing, you will lead a team that defines the growth strategies for our key post-paid consumer Segments and our VCG Experiential & Grassroots marketing channels. You will utilize data on business performance, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to develop and implement new value propositions, local promotions, marketing collateral, and experiential tactics. You will direct agency and internal resources to evolve our activation strategy, curate our portfolio of messaging and experiential collateral, and enable the broader field marketing teams with assets to execute upon our portfolio of partners and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team that partners with stakeholders across the enterprise to develop, coordinate and execute our Customer Segment strategies that drive post-paid acquisition, sequential YoY growth, and strengthen the customer experience end to end.

  • Brief our marketing engine on key segment insights, and drive implementation through a variety of channels.

  • Collaborating across functions and levels to drive commitment and participation in Segment growth initiatives.

  • Enable our field marketing and grassroots teams to maximize our sponsorship and local event investments to drive both segment and general market growth.

  • Manage experiential agency scope, and direct investment and messaging prioritization for events.

  • Develop materials for, and present to, senior executives.

What we're looking for...

You're all about creating strategy, vision, and impact; you can manage the long-term strategic view and shorter term performance outcomes. You're a detailed planner with the ability to develop multi-year plans-but you know it's a fast-changing landscape so you are nimble and can adjust. You understand that strategy is important but the bottom line is sales and happy customers. You're the type of person that can get others to pay attention and influence them to get on board. You're a natural leader that inspires, engages, and motivates your team to bring their best every time.

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Ten or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Spanish language proficiency, both written and verbal.

  • Experienced people leader with a proven track record of effectively managing and fostering the growth of teams while developing talent, promoting career growth, and inspiring team members at all levels.

  • Experience in developing strategic plans that drive growth, segment or audience marketing, and presenting to senior leadership.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Master's or advanced degree in business, marketing, or related field.
