JOB SUMMARY Works under minimal supervision to provide responsible technical assistance in performance of assignments requiring basic knowledge of techniques and practices related to particular field of science. The laboratory of Dr. Tuoqi Wu (https://profiles.utsouthwestern.edu/profile/208407/tuoqi-wu.html), is recruiting for a Research Assistant I in the Department of Immunology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. The Wulab studies the regulation of T cell immunity in cancer and infection. Our laboratory https://labs.utsouthwestern.edu/wu-tuoqi-lab also has several exciting projects related to 1) understand the molecular mechanism of T-cell stemness and T-cell exhaustion, 2) identify novel targets for improving the efficacy of cancer immunotherapy, and 3) understand age-associated defects in the T cell immunity.
