Here's what you'd do:

  • The CDAO's ADDER team is seeking a highly skilled Linux System Administrator/Network Engineer to support the development and operation of our data enablement platform.
  • The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain Linux-based systems and networks to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
  • This includes installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux operating systems, network devices, and related software.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $98.57/hr.

Hours: 4/10.

Length: Temp (12 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Linux system administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Linux command-line interfaces, scripting languages (Bash, Python), and automation tools (Ansible).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with network device configuration and management (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with security best practices and compliance frameworks (NIST, DISA STIGs).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols).
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux kernel tuning, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Certification in Linux administration (RHCE, LPIC) or networking (CCNA, CCNP).
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (Git).
  • Good understanding of data security and encryption technologies (SSL/TLS, IPsec).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
