Job Details Delivers a planned course of external beam radiation therapy treatments following the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist. Responsible for competencies when performing the following functions in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position requires providing service to the following age population(s) teen, adult, older adult and frail elderly in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. Job Description Responsibilities: Administer radiation therapy to patients as per the treatment plan. Ensure accurate positioning and proper delivery of radiation treatments. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation. Provide support and care to patients throughout the radiation therapy process. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment. Qualifications: Current and valid Radiation Therapy license/certification. Proven experience as a Radiation Therapist (preferred but not required). Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work on a per diem schedule. Education/Training/Experience: Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiation Therapy Technology required. New graduates are accepted but experience is preferred. Licenses/Certifications: ARRT Board certification preferred. ARRT Board eligible required. CPR (BLS) Certification required.
