Production Scheduler - Elixir

About the Role: We are looking for an Production Scheduler to join the Elixir Supply Chain team. The Production Scheduler will be responsible for the day-to-day sequencing of WO's and activities required to create and maintain detailed production/supply schedules based on the master scheduling input or established pull signals. They will ensure the system of record is accurate for all production schedules and process orders. They will manage the capacity requirements planning processes. The Production Scheduler is the point person between the manufacturing facility and the supply planning organization.

This role will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits:



  • $65,000 - $87,000 per year

Responsibilities:



  • Embody our "why": to make tools that inspire musicians to create, express, and connect throughout their musical journey
  • Create, sequence and dispatch the work orders to the manufacturing floor
  • Assure the schedules are continually maintained, communicated, and made available for commitments to orders
  • Communicate production issues, inventory issues, supply changes, deviations from the plan and potential resolutions to appropriate personnel
  • Provide Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCC) for the Master Production Schedule
  • Maintain and provide accurate ATP (Available to Promise) data
  • Maintain the appropriate planning parameters and date maintenance required to generate schedules
  • Execute capacity requirements planning (CRP) to support the supply plans
  • Participate with manufacturing to understand and report on production performance
  • Provide support to broader Supply Chain by periodically completing material planning and procurement activities


Required Qualifications:



  • BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Technical field or minimum 3 years of recent and relevant experience (Asset Scheduling, Material Planning, Continuous Improvement)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of S&OP Planning Process in the short-term and mid-term horizons
  • Demonstrate knowledge of asset reliability and productivity
  • Understanding ERP functionality to support the asset scheduling process
  • Analytic Skills (advanced Excel)
  • Ability to document, communicate, and present on topics relating to supply chain
  • Ability to travel up to 10%



Desired Qualifications:



  • APICS Certification
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles and/or Theory of Constraints
  • Experience with PowerBI AND/OR Tableau data visualization tools
