Job Summary:

The Contractor Licensing Compliance Admin provides accurate financial information to management by researching contractor license regulations by city/county/state. This role is responsible for educating the operations team about the regulations as well as ensuring that all projects have the required licenses.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Determines states/counties/cities where licenses are needed, and types of licenses required. Gets and completes required applications and documents. Reviews applications and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy before submitting them to the licensing office. Monitors expiration of licenses and other regulatory requirements. Communicates with state regulatory agencies and front-line management regarding licensing requirements and compliance. Develops and maintains professional and technical knowledge of tools and processes supporting licensing and registration operations and leverages new technology to support the changing operational environment. Supports internal and external auditors. Self-manage assigned workload distribution. Ensure company compliance with all state/county/city licensing offices. Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential. Perform reporting audits for accuracy and overall delivery. Other responsibilities as assigned. Min USD $70,000.00/Yr. Max USD $80,000.00/Yr.

Qualifications

Physical and Mental Requirements:

Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional in promoting company culture & mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners Must possess proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral direction(s) to project personnel. Solid attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information. Must have proven skill level to interpret project documents, including but not limited to, timesheets, spreadsheets and billing documents. Regular attendance is mandatory. Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements: Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency. Construction industry licensing experience in a similar role would be beneficial. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project). Strong organization and time management skills required. Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to allow reporting research results with open and clear communication internal and external.
