The Healthcare Industry Consulting Directorwill be responsible for strategic consulting and advisory to our clients. You will engage healthcare executives to provide key industry insights, understand their challenges, and offer industry focused and compelling solutions.

By collaborating closely across NTT DATA, you'll bring advisory services, technology solutions, and innovation to our clients. As a Healthcare Industry Consulting Director, your role will be critical to expanding business opportunities in our current accounts, delivering consulting solutions, and developing/mentoring teams to serve healthcare providers and health plans to advance business and clinical outcomes.

Once You Are Here, You Will:

  • Deliver consulting offerings for healthcare organizations including developing go to market materials and deliverables: information technology strategy, clinical and business applications, enterprise imaging (RIS/PACS), data and analytics, contact center (including clinical desk and technical desk), supply chain

  • Advise clients on technology strategic plans for anticipating opportunities, analyzing competitive posture, and developing/implementing successful programs based on that analysis

  • Oversee delivery of consulting projects, training and development of emerging talent

  • Contribute to our point of view and thought leadership activities across healthcare on topics related to payment models, digital records, security, cost optimization, clinician shortages, data/data insights and governance, security resilience

  • Advocate for clinical innovations that address clinical needs, workforce management, and informatics education aligned with the organizational strategy and national priorities

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years' experience in healthcare consulting/advisory

  • 7+ years' in healthcare IT, informatics, clinical or business operations in healthcare provider or health plan segment.

  • 2+ years' experience working with healthcare leaders to influence and define healthcare IT strategy roadmaps and architecture/blueprints aligned to business outcomes

  • Experience in cloud configured platforms and data & intelligence in combination of the following: Cloud advisory, cloud migration, IoT, disaster recovery and business continuity, experience with AWS, Azure, GCP and Oracle cloud, Epic, Cerner, Meditech.

  • Project/Program experience leading projects in the healthcare industry to achieve process improvement, enhance patient care, and/or improve profitability

  • Flexibility to travel up to 30% based on client demand

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology

  • Master's degree in healthcare IT, informatics, health administration, technology

  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements related to digital health (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR

  • Knowledge/experience in areas that include: security, AI/Gen AI, EHR, imaging, data analytics, contact center, cloud.

  • Demonstrated understanding of business constraints and an ability to independently develop and convey highly complex strategic concepts in a concise and consumable manner for various audiences

  • Business acumen with knowledge of strategy, business model design, design thinking, and experimentation/ agile organizations and asuccessful track record of engaging senior executives and leading complex high-stakes projects & teams

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $188,000-$317,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
