We are currently seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to join our team in Herndon (REMOTE), Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

NTT DATA is currently seeking to hire a SeniorFront-End Developer with a strong background in creating user-friendly and accessible web applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of how tocreate sleek, robust, and maintainable front-end interfaces. Additionally, this person will also have knowledgeof serverless technologies, documenting to compliance standards, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Design and Develop User Interfaces: Create intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for web applications.
• Collaborate with other UX/UI Designers: Work closely with UX/UI designers to transform wireframes and design mockups into functional web interfaces, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
• Optimize Performance: Implement front-end optimization techniques to enhance the performance and loading times of web applications.
• Cross-browser and Cross-platform Compatibility: Ensure compatibility across various browsers and platforms commonly used.
• Accessibility and Usability Testing: Conduct thorough accessibility and usability testing and address any identified issues to guarantee a high level of user satisfaction.
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for front-end code, ensuring it is well-documented for future reference and potential audits.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with back-end developers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and contribute to a cohesive development process.
• Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Keep abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in front-end development, especially those relevant to the federal sector.

BasicQualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of development experience (any languages).
• Minimum 3 years of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Typescript, Angular) experience.
• Minimum 3 years of Python experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with API design principals (RESTful API, OpenAPI).
• Minimum 2 years of experience with AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, Faregate, SQS, API Gateway).
• Minimum 2 years of experience with relational or NoSQL database technologies (Postgres, MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) .
• Minimum 2 years of experience with version control (Git/GitHub).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Suitability Determination.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplineorequivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• A solid understanding of React Material UI v5, TypeScript and Node.js.
• The ability to build a modern user experience using best practices in web design and intuitive dashboards.
• Hands-on experience working with APIs andwriting scripts to push/pulldata into a database.
• Analytic experience in reviewing data, pulling relevant data out of large data feeds, and translating the data into graphs and charting widgets.
• Ability to perform code reviews and identify ways to reduce complexity in large scripts.
• Experience in creating workflow documentation.
• Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is [Min: $73,332 - Max: $152,776]. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
