We are currently seeking a Senior Back-End Developer to join our team in Herndon (REMOTE), Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

NTT DATA is currently seeking to hire aSenior Back-End Developerto support a Cyber Hygiene projectin data source API integration, including Python scripting, database creation and implementation to store and query results, report generation, units testing, regression testing in an AWS environment. In this role, you will support ongoing script, report, and software code automation,maintenance, testing, and enhancements.

Key skill sets include, but are not limited to:

• A solid understanding of cybersecurity information technology, security applications, and networking basics
• Senior level development skillset
• Ability to mentor, share knowledge and provide guidance to team members
• A solid understanding of Pytest, and AWS
• Experience with building and operating a modern REST API
• Hands-on experience working with APIs andwriting scripts to pulldata into a database
• Analytic experience in reviewing data, pulling relevant data out of large data feeds, and providing basic analysis of results of findings
• Ability to perform static code reviews and identify ways to reduce complexity in large scripts.
• Experience in creating workflow documentation
• Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements
• Experience with database maintenance

BasicQualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology orequivalent combination of education and work experience
• Minimum 5years of development experience (any languages)
• Minimum 3years of experience with Python
• Minimum 2 years of experience with relational or NoSQL database technologies (Postgres, MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Minimum 1 yearof experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Minimum 1 yearof experience with AWS
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Suitability Determination

Preferred Qualifications, optional:

• Familiarity with the DevOps lifecycle and coordinating requirements with development teams.

• Advanced coding and programming experience preferred:Pythonand Python frameworks (like Django, Flask or Pyramid), Front-end technologies(like HTML5, Javascript, Node.js, React), Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM), Relational/Non-relational databases (like Postgres, MongoDB), Docker, UNIX/Linux OS and CLI, Core AWS services, RESTful API, AI development experience (NLP or Machine Learning),
• ConfidentGit and Github skills
• AWS development experience is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is [Min: $84,996 - Max: $177,076]. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
