Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Video Specialist to join our team in Holland, MI. As a Video Specialist, you will: Produce high-quality video content, managing live production events, and maintaining AV equipment by collaboration with the creative team, troubleshooting technical issues, and staying current with industry trends to ensure all video content aligns with the company's brand and quality standards.
Essential Functions
- Video Editing: Edit video content using industry-standard software to create engaging and polished final products.
- Live Event Management: Manage live production events, including setup, operation, and breakdown of video and audio equipment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate cameras, switchers, audio mixers, and other AV equipment during live events.
- Comprehensive Production Support: Support larger video shoots, including pre-production planning, production operations, and post-production editing, ensuring high-quality video deliverables.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to video production and AV equipment, maintaining and organizing equipment inventory.
- Creative Collaboration: Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards, ensuring alignment with brand and quality standards.
- Keep Abreast of Industry Trends and Techniques: Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and technologies into video production.
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
- Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
- Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Film, Media Production, AV Technology or similar field of study.
- 2 years proven experience as a Video Specialist, Video Editor, or similar role for a corporation or video production company.
Preferred Qualifications
- Related experience as a Video Specialist, Video Editor, or similar role.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Experience with live production, including operating cameras, switchers, and audio mixers preferred.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation.
- Knowledge of color grading and sound design.
- Strong familiarity with streaming platforms and live broadcast best practices.
