As a Clinical Research Intern at Hanger Clinic within the Department of Clinical and Scientific Affairs, you will play a key role in contributing to the design and implementation of patient engagement strategies, assisting in the development of Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG), and establishing outcomes tracking and analysis capabilities across Hanger Clinic. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in clinical research and healthcare operations.

This internship provides a dynamic environment for learning and growth, allowing you to contribute to impactful projects while gaining exposure to various aspects of clinical and scientific affairs within Hanger Clinic.

Note: This is an internship position with an expected duration of 12 weeks. Interns will receive mentoring and guidance from experience professional in the field, providing an excellent learning opportunity.



Your Impact

    Conduct data entry, collection, and analytics for use in programs across Hanger.
  • Support literature reviews under direction and supervision.
  • Assist in the preparation of grant and Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions with guidance.
  • Maintain databases utilized by multiple teams.
  • Interface in person and electronically with internal and external clinical, administrative, and executive personnel.
  • Proactively and timely respond to project-related communications.
  • Provide administrative and data support to clinical teams by assisting in the completion of assigned project activities.
  • Attend project meetings as required.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field (i.e. mathematics, statistics, bioinformatics, biomechanics, kinesiology, biomedical engineering, public health and/or clinical research administration)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
