Project Cataloger (Casual Position) Amherst Campus Part Time JR5921 Amherst has taken a leadership role among highly selective liberal arts colleges and universities in successfully diversifying the racial, socio-economic, and geographic profile of its student body. Job Description: Amherst College invites applications for the Project Cataloger position. The Project Cataloger is a part-time, casual position with no benefits, starting at $22/hour - commensurate with experience. Given Amherst's distinction as one of the most diverse liberal arts colleges in the country, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ways in which they bring value to and will work towards supporting a broadly diverse community. The Project Cataloger will work on projects to re-classify and copy catalog resources in the library's collection of music scores and sound recordings. This includes reviewing and updating bibliographic records in OCLC, assigning Library of Congress Classification numbers, and updating records in our library services platform (FOLIO). The Project Cataloger will also perform physical processing of materials, such as labeling. Summary of Responsibilities: Cataloging
