Air Liquide Electronics innovative electronic materials respond to increasingly challenging customer demands for improved mobility, connectivity, computing power and energy consumption. We offer ultra pure carrier gases, a wide range of specialty gases and advanced precursor molecules, enabling equipment for safe distribution, purification and on-line purity control. On site, manufacturers rely on our expertise in providing full management of these gases, advanced molecules and equipment and in helping to continuously improve production processes.

The Sales and Business development team provides administrative support to the commercial activity and/or to the customers/patients, like contract management, customer organizations' interfaces, payors' interfaces (States or Private Insurance).

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Account Manager will be responsible for overall customer account P&L, sales growth and interactions with one of Air Liquide's largest accounts for electronics materials (ESM - Electronics Specialty Materials). This individual will lead the commercial activities to drive the operation excellence supported by the ESM Program Manager. Will develop and maintain trust and business relationships with customer contacts at multiple levels and sites. Will develop and implement account strategies and continuously improve customer satisfaction. Will define goals, tasks, deliverables and timelines associated with each aspect of product ramp up & fleet build leading to increased sales and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall account P&L - maximizing profitable sales across the ESG product line.

  • Responsible for growing business across multiple customer sites located in and outside the US geographic region.

  • Develop and implement account strategies to meet financial target objectives

  • Develop & implement programs to continuously improve customer satisfaction

  • Maintains a strong relationship with the customer.

  • Drive the entire sales process.

  • Facilitate quality processes for the commercial organization.

  • Establish & maintain high quality relationships with the customer.

  • Maintain understanding of competitive applications.

  • Partners with ESG Program Manager and the other Customer Account Manager.

  • Facilitate the measurement, promotion, and forecast demand for the products and services of the organization in relation to existing or emerging customer needs, including business development and related technical services.

  • Ensure that we are able to keep the commercial commitments made to customer.

  • Collaborates and interacts regularly with ALEUS functional peers and others stakeholders to support business goals, as appropriate.

  • Supports and coordinates quality and safety corrective and preventive actions.

  • Supports and coordinates the internal and customers task forces in case of a serious quality event or a supply chain crisis.

  • Promotes safety, health, and environmental initiatives of ALEUS.

  • From time to time, support other Air Liquide initiatives as directed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science or technical equivalent or 10+ years of equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of electronics gas, specialty materials, chemical or service experience in the semiconductor or a related industry.

  • 5+ years of field sales or business development experience in the semiconductor marketplace preferred

  • Demonstrated leadership in identifying, prospecting and procuring new business.

  • Good understanding of the IC customer's application & technology.

  • Direct experience and with good understanding of specialty materials for high technology fab is required.

  • Exceptional presentation skills and demeanor at all levels of a customer's organization.

  • Flexible and innovative in terms of developing new value added solutions for customer needs.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work seamlessly out of and within the Air Liquide organization.

  • Excellent writing, verbal and listening communication skills needed for proposal development and presentations, negotiating and drafting contracts and effective closing.

  • Able to navigate the web effectively and has a good understanding of Google and Microsoft documents, spreadsheets and presentation software platforms.

  • Organization and planning skills for multitasking are required.

  • Domestic and international travel (<10%).

  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or Science preferred.

  • 3-5 years direct experience with Electronics customer's quality process preferred.

The Salary rate range for this position in Oregon is $125,000.00 to $135,000.00
