Job Purpose

This position is responsible for the administration, configuration, and oversight of the core banking and deposit origination systems. This position will be the subject matter expert for the systems assigned, and work with lines of business and department managers to ensure the functionality of the systems and to provide support and training.

Job Duties

  • Will be the subject matter expert systems assigned and support other Platform Support Analysts and lines of business to ensure functionality of the systems.
  • Responsible for implementing new functionality while adhering with the bank's change process policies
  • Responsible for working with the vendor to understand new functionality, report issues, and advocate for enhancements.
  • Responsible for reviewing and testing system updates.
  • Development of management reporting to help support business objectives and analysis.
  • Will assist IT and other Platform Support teammates to research issues and understand the integration of the assigned systems to other systems
  • Work with various departments to understand their business needs and research and provide guidance how the systems may provide solutions.
  • Ensure that bank associates are using the system in the most efficient way by utilizing functionality and business tasks.
  • Will be responsible for attending training sessions - both in person or via conference calls or webinars.
  • Will perform special projects as assigned.
  • Travel may be required.

Normal departmental hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday - Friday

Education, Experience and Job Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Management, Finance, Accounting or other business related field, or 5 years' work experience in a related field is required.
  • Proven ability when confronted with issues to:
    • problem-solve issues with critical thinking and logical reasoning;
    • develop a plan to correct any underlying systematic gaps;
    • implement the solution either individually or with internal or vendor teams
    • effectively communicate issues and solutions to all stakeholders
    • create and update thorough documentation of actions taken
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy with close attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with FIS IBS or other core banking software is preferred.
  • Experience with FIS Deposit Origination is preferred.
  • Understanding of SAP business intelligence, database structures, SQL queries is a plus
  • Effectively manage multiple projects with deadlines.
  • Highly motivated self starter.
  • Team-player.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Management, Finance, Accounting, or other business related field, or 5 years' experience in a related field.
