Job Overview

Join our team as a Business Development Manager. TheBusiness Development Manager, Hard Rock is responsible for planning, resourcing and attainment of overall revenue development across assigned territory for underground hard rock products.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Specialemphasis of role will be placed on building long-term and broad-based customer and dealer (company-owned and third party) relationships.
  • Marketanalysis of existing underground hard rock mines with development of strategy, in alignment with dealer principals, to grow into these markets
  • Providesinput into strategic plans for the continued expansion of revenue. Working with Product Managers on customer strategies that will affect the revenue and business profitability.
  • Developsand implements agreed business targets to include revenue, expense, resourcing, and net working capital elements.
  • Providesregular status reports on business activities, opportunity development and overall satisfaction of the Customers base.
  • Fullownership of knowledge and relationship establishment of underground hard rock mines in development: permitting, funding, pre-feasibility, construction and startup. These relationships will include mining companies, engineering firms and investors of these upcoming properties.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of industry/educational experience of 10 years, with preferences of a degree in business or mining and experience in underground mining.
  • Minimum 5 years management experience within sales.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment typical of the mining sector.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in addressing challenges specific to mining operations.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of mining equipment, processes, and safety regulations.
  • Experience with mining software and technologies is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
