Job Summary BASIC FUNCTION HCSC is looking for a dynamic individual to join its Corporate Security team! The Enterprise Control Room (ECR) is the command center for physical security operations, proactively mitigating risks and safeguarding company assets, personnel, and brand reputation. The Security Operations Coordinator I coordinates the processes of the ECR and is responsible for real-time monitoring of physical security, coordinating incident response and investigation, and conducting threat assessment, utilizing advanced technology and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a secure environment. The incumbent will also perform the role of security intelligence analyst, gathering and analyzing information to further identify and assess potential threats. NOTE: sponsorship is NOT available for this role, relocation will NOT be offered. This position is IN-OFFICE five (5) days per week! JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical security operations or a related field Strong understanding of physical security technology and security systems Ability to identify and assess potential threats Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a challenging environment Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays 24/7/365 availability for emergency and incident response (except during approved paid time off) Occasional travel to other company locations PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field Certifications in physical security - such as PSP, CPP, or PCI Experience with intelligence gathering and analysis tools and techniques Strong analytical and research skills City of Chicago Fire Safety Director Certification NOTE: sponsorship is NOT available for this role, relocation will NOT be offered. The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plansubject to the terms and the conditions of the plan. Base Pay Range$17.75 - $27.83
