Responsibilities The role of the Coordinator, Outpatient Milieu is critical in ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients in an outpatient setting. Below is a detailed breakdown of the essential duties and responsibilities associated with this position: Key Responsibilities: Client Monitoring and Safety: Ensure constant awareness of client whereabouts and activities. Follow clients who leave the premises to ensure their safety until further assistance is available. Utilize verbal de-escalation techniques to manage client behaviors and prevent crises. Apply Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) techniques when clients pose an imminent danger to themselves or others. Documentation and Reporting: Oversee the completion of daily shift notes for each client to maintain accurate records of their status and progress. Audit operational checklists and electronic medication administration records (eMAR) daily to ensure compliance and accuracy. Program Facilitation: Facilitate and participate in daily schedules, including groups, activities, and events, providing support to clients. Assign tasks to Coordinators (CCs) to ensure smooth operations and client engagement. Staff Development and Supervision: Observe CCs regularly, providing constructive feedback, coaching, and training to enhance their skills. Conduct weekly individual supervision sessions with each CC to discuss performance and development. Hold bi-weekly CC meetings to review operational progress and provide additional training. Accountability and Performance Management: Hold CCs accountable for their daily tasks and overall job performance. Participate in the interviewing and recommendation process for new CCs in collaboration with HR and the Director of Outpatient services. Assist in the completion of CC performance reviews with the support of the Director. Interdepartmental Liaison: Act as a liaison between departments to ensure that clients' needs are met effectively. Attend weekly Treatment Team Meetings to share action plans and relevant client information with CCs. Crisis Management: Take the initiative in providing crisis management and interventions as needed, supporting both client and staff needs. Remain proactive in identifying potential crises and implementing preventative measures. Compliance and Training: Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, record-keeping requirements, and assigned documentation. Stay current with all required trainings and certifications to maintain employment standards. Qualifications
Salary Range for this position is $25- $28.64 an hr based on education and experience. We are committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation. An individual's pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions.
