Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Human Resources Program Manager to join our team in Holland, MI.This position will be eligible for a flexible work schedule which allows for work from home 1 or 2 days a week.

As a Human Resources Program Manager, you will:

Oversee the planning and execution of moderately complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. You will manage resources, budgets, and risks effectively while leveraging your project management expertise to solve challenges and mentor junior team members. This position will lead programs aimed at building an Early Talent Pipeline by fostering connections with colleges, universities, and K-12 institutions, as well as overseeing the Internship and Seasonal Office programs. Your role will also involve promoting Haworth's brand as an employer of choice within the community, driving engagement, and establishing strong community ties.

Required Qualifications

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, orequivalent area of study.
  • Education Equivalency:

    • Associate's degree in Business, Human Resources or equivalent area of studyplus 2 years related experience or,
    • High school diploma plus4 years related experience.





Experience:



  • 5 years related experience in with a Bachelor's degree or,
  • 3 years related experience with Master's degree.
  • Equivalent Military experience.



*Related experience is working experience in the areas of Human Resources, Program or Project Management, Management, Process Improvement, or similar.

Additionally:



  • Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
  • Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
  • Ability to travel 10 percent of the time. Mainly local travelto universities/colleges and events/fairswithin a 30-mile radius of the Holland/Grand Rapids, MI area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior or current experience in Talent Attraction and University/Community Relations partnerships.
  • Project Management Certification(s) and/or Human Resource Certification(s).
  • Prior or current experience with SAP SuccessFactors Human Resources Modules.
  • Prior or current experience/ exposure to working with senior leaders in a corporate environment.
  • Certification in continuous improvement or equivalent.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.

Essential Functions

  • Data andMetrics: Gather data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and completeness through rigorous validation processes. Analyze and interpret validated data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Enhance Visibility and Collaboration: Develop and implement strategies to increase awareness of early talent relationships across various departments and members. Create and share reports, presentations, and success stories that highlight the impact of these relationships on the community and the organization. Foster collaboration and engagement by organizing events, workshops, and networking opportunities that connect early talent with other team members and departments.
  • Community Representation: Actively represent Haworth as an employer of choice at community events, career fairs, and educational institutions. When unable to attend, ensure other Haworth members are aligned to represent the brand, providing them with the necessary support and marketing resources to succeed.
  • Develop and Manage Projects/Programs: Planning and executing complex projects and/or programs from initiation to closure.
  • Manage Project/Program Plans: Manage project/program plans, including meeting budget and plan effectiveness.
  • Manage Project/Program Risks: Identify, assess, escalate identified project risks, and make recommendations for mitigation.
  • Provide Program/Project Management Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to other team members.
  • Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate effectively with internal and external cross-functional teams and/or leaders to ensure project and/or program success.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve project and program management processes and implement solutions.
  • Stay Abreast of Industry Trends and Technologies: Stay informed about known industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive advantage with projects and programs.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
