Software Engineer II

TSC is in search of a mid-level Software Engineer to join our growing team based in Huntsville, AL (Discovery) location. This position requires a flexible individual with experience in product development. The team is responsible for product development, test implementation and transition to production.

Responsibilities:

• Develop applications using C, C++, and Python.
• Assist in testing, debugging, and integrating embedded hardware and software solutions.
• Support software development through the transition from development to testing and production.
• Work closely with a cross-functional team of systems, hardware, mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to deliver complete solutions.
• Analyze laboratory test data, comparing expected performance or reference data to actual results.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree Computer Science or a related field and 2 or more years of relevant industry experience
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a secret DoD clearance
• Experience in radar, SIGINT, electronic warfare, RF systems, and networking

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with GitHub, ISO 9001 environments, and DoD software development
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMs, Docker)
• Possess excellent organizational and communications skills
• Able to prioritize work and maximize productivity
