Adjunct Instructor

The Department of Educational Policy and Leadership Studies in the College of Education is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for the following 3-semester-hour online course to be taught in the Fall 2025:

EPLS:6236: Special Education Administrationthis class will meet online via a virtual classroom Thursdays from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm. This course builds a foundation of dispositions, knowledge, and skills for tasks performed by directors of special education, building leaders and administrators.

Instruction and support for the course will include developing a course syllabus, leading instruction for the course, and managing the online course system (ICON) for the course.

Education required: Master's degree in education from an accredited school, some field experience preferred.

Preference for experience with:

• PK-12 Special Education programs.
• Knowledge of Special Education legislation and legal issues.
• Experience as building or district level administrator.
