VP Embedded Finance Product Development (Hybrid)

Work Arrangement:

***After the initial training period, this is a hybrid role, working onsite in our Sioux Falls, SD office.***

The Vice President Embedded Finance Product Development is responsible for the development and implementation of new products on behalf of the Fintech Solutions organization. This role will oversee an idea from initial concept to full product launch. This individual will work with both internal stakeholders and Fintech Solutions partners to effectively assess the risks, operational requirements, testing, and rollout strategy suitable for introducing the new financial product in an efficient, safe, and sound manner. The VP Embedded Finance Product Development is required to capably analyze an idea, communicating effectively to affected parties, and managing deliverables through to a successful launch of the product.

Essential Functions

Assesses and refines initial concepts focused on the delivery of new financial products to market.
1. Develops and delivers executive level presentations on new financial product concepts.
2. Partners with internal stakeholders to continually refine, analyze and identify deliverables required to effectively launch new products.
3. Organizes project teams and ensure effective collaboration through the new product lifecycle.
4. Brainstorms creative solutions to address any identified gaps/deliverables necessary for product launch.
5. Collaborates with stakeholders to mitigate issues and risks identified through the process.
6. Manages expectations both internally and with partners through the lifecycle of a product launch.
7. Effectively collects, documents, and organizes product analysis, diagrams, risk assessments, funding flows, project plans, and schedules as required by the effort.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements

• An Undergraduate degree in Business or related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• 10+ years of experience in financial services products.
• 5-7 years of work in project/product management.
• 5-7 years of work in the Embedded Finance vertical.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the field of payments or credit industry is a plus.
• Self-Starter who can work independently in a self-managed team environment.
• Proficient in identifying project requirements, developing project plans and managing project risks.
• Solid understanding of a product development cycle and required steps in the process.
• Excellent communication skills adept at delivering information to audiences of all levels.
• Working knowledge of a bank's risk management framework including the role and activity of critical stakeholders involved in the process.
