Pay / Schedule: $20.00/hr. Hybrid schedule M - F 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 2 days on site - 3 days remote.
HM is calling this role an Accounting Clerk Duration of assignment: 6 months Onsite Position/Hybrid/Remote? Hybrid (2 days on-site and 3 days remote) Worksite location: Evansville O'Hara Plant What are the shift hours? 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday Top 3 Must-Have Skills 1. SAP experience 2. Phone Interview and in-person interview. The primary responsibility of this job is to process invoices in an accurately and timely manner. Invoice processing greatly impacts the general ledger as well as the various cost elements within SAP. In addition to processing invoices, the job requires timely response to both internal and external customers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Processing invoices. KEY COMPENTENCIES: Requires the knowledge of the Disbursements process. Must have a general understanding of the Purchasing process is beneficial. Must possess excellent keying skills, good communication skills and base level writing skills are also required. Must be able to demonstrate good people skills and the ability to function well under stress. Must possess a strong willingness to perform repetitive tasks. Capable of demonstrating strong organizational and problem solving skills are very important. Must have the ability to effectively interface with employees at all levels. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of office related software to include Microsoft Office or Outlook. Proficient in Word and Excel. Knowledge of PowerPoint a plus. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Completion of some college-level courses and/or some understanding of basic level Accounting concepts is desired. 1-4 years of experience required.
