Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is looking for a Clinical Educator, Mid to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

  • The Clinical Educator, Mid is responsible to Provide support to caregivers for people with intellectual disability/autism (ID/A) and the ID support system through education, data collection, identification of healthcare concerns, information dissemination, and technical assistance. While this position is mostly remote, the candidate must reside in one of these counties within Pennsylvania which we serve: Allegheny, Bedford, Cambria, Fayette, Greene, Somerset, Washington, or Westmoreland

Responsibilities:

  • Development, revision and delivery of trainings to improve customer's understanding and ability to promote heath and welfare of individuals with ID/A
  • Collaborate with and assist support teams to improve outcomes related to system issues, people living with challenges, and development of policies
  • Provide strategies, best practices, and tools to promote the increase in skills and abilities of community service systems and healthcare providers through education, dissemination of information, and consultation.
  • Maintain data required to assess productivity and provide meaningful reports to stakeholders
  • Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with role and scope of position
  • Attend meetings with stakeholders as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Active unrestricted Pennsylvania RN license
  • Knowledge of best practices and positive principles for supporting people with ID/A

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years acute care or homecare nursing experience
  • Experience working with individuals who have disabilities or in programs supporting them.
  • Highly developed critical thinking skills; ability to interpret data and apply knowledge gained from education and work experience outside of a clinical setting
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal , organizational, and time management skills with an emphasis on customer service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience teaching adult learners

Pay Range

Starting from USD $53,824.00/Yr.
