Enterprise Architect IV - Cross Portfolio Integration
Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a senior Enterprise Architect who will support Joint Program Executive Office for CBRN Defense (JPEO-CBRND) with cross-portfolio integration. In this role, you will support the enterprise-level architectural design and solutioning to create scalable, adaptable, and operationally synchronized solutions spanning program level architectures. This includes the analysis of capability gaps and overlaps, development and validation of DODAF architectures for enterprise initiatives and programs, and engagement with a variety of sponsors, product owners, and product teams to design architectural models for existing and emerging requirements. Responsibilities:
  • Serve as primary POC and workflow organizer for the JPEO's architecture team
  • Work with stakeholders, leadership and SMEs to build a holistic view of the organization's strategy, processes, information, and assets
  • Work with program-level architects to provide a consensus-based enterprise solution
  • Develop, maintain, and validate DODAF architectures for JPEO initiatives, programs, and the broader enterprise
  • Develop DODAF architecture models in coordination with program offices and user sponsors such as the Joint Requirements Office and/or individual service and non-DoD sponsors
  • Work with JPEO program engineers to develop system-level architectures
  • Ensure DODAF architecture/data models are consistent with JPEO architecture models as well as Joint Staff Command and Control (J6) Warfighter Mission Area (WMA) architecture development guidance
  • Develop architecture products to support acquisition documents (CDDs, CPDs, ISPs)
  • Provide comments and input to support program and contract documentation (SEPs, TEMPs, RFIs, TORs, RFPs)
  • Participate in JPEO Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) at the program and Enterprise level.
  • CONUS travel up to 20%
Minimum Requirements:
  • Required: 12+ years' experience of Software Development and 8 years' experience in software architecture
  • Required: 3+ years' experience developing and maintaining DODAF v2.0 data architecture products and/or Data Models within standard data modeling tools (ERStudio, Erwin, etc.)
  • 1+ year working experience with the UNICOM Systems Architect tool or No Magin Inc. MagicDraw Architect Tool
  • Required: 3+ years' experience working with DODAF or TOGAF frameworks
  • Required: 2+ years' experience with Joint Common System Function List (JCSFL), Joint Common Architecture (JCA), Net-Ready Key Performance Parameter (NR KPP), Universal Joint Task List (UJTL), and National Information Exchange Model (NIEM)
