$2,500 Sign-Bonus Join Henry Ford Health as an Inpatient Pharmacy Buyer and make a meaningful impact on patient care. GENERAL SUMMARY: Location: Grand Blanc Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8 hours shifts; 07:00-5:30 pm The pharmacy buyer position will address the medication procurement related needs of our patients in the inpatient setting at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital. The pharmacy buyer will work closely with other technicians, pharmacists, and pharmacy management. PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES: Assist with inventory moves throughout the shift Complete weekly manual cycle counts Help organize and facilitate the weekly drug shortage meeting Placing and receiving pharmacy inventory orders Completion of special projects as determined by pharmacy department leadership Assisting other technicians and pharmacy support staff as needed This posting represents the major duties, responsibilities, and authorities of this job, and is not intended to be a complete list of all tasks and duties. High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience -OR- Associate's degree/Technical degree -OR- 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Board certification (CPhT) required, Pharmacy Technician license through the State of Michigan board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
