The Sales Operations Manager ensures organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for CDW's sales operations. This position will work closely with Sales Management to define process and policy and implement through a team of Sales Operations Supervisors.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Manage a team of Sales Operations Supervisors

  • Provide leadership to an assigned team of Sales Operations Supervisors to ensure customer and Sales Management needs are met

  • Manage and allocate workflow within team

  • Coach and develop team of supervisors

  • Hire and train new and replacement supervisors

  • Manage relationships between Sales Operations Supervisors and Sales Managers

  • Work with senior leadership to identify staffing needs and add supervisors as needed

  • Sales process improvement

  • Identify best practices within Sales Operations Supervisors and develop standardized operating procedures

  • Drive standard operating procedures within channel leadership to ensure consistent execution and customer experiences

  • Develop collaborative relationships within internal CDW departments to enhance customer experience and increase sales awareness of procedure

  • Gather feedback and analyze data to recommend and implement process improvements within channel

  • Deliver recommendations to manager to improve processes across sales organization

  • Territory planning

  • Manage territory planning process including timelines, data feeds, and templates used by managers and directors

  • Collaborate with Sales Management to identify new opportunities in partner and customer engagement

  • Identify, recommend, and implement changes to the assigned channel's Territory Plan template by working with channel leaders to determine the needs of the business

Responsibilities

  • Lead special projects to enhance operational efficiencies

  • Assist supervisors with escalated issues, recognizing coaching and process improvement opportunities related to issue

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates degree OR 2 years of direct supervisory/management level experience

  • Two years experience with CDW sales product and process

  • Experience leading teams towards a given goal; leadership experience in manager or supervisor role preferred

  • Experience implementing operational effectiveness projects

  • Proven track record of success

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage direction from multiple leaders

  • Ability to develop trusted relationships (internal and external) at all levels within an organization

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree

Pay range: $ 94,000 - $ 154,200, depending on experience and skill set

Annual bonus target of $15,000 subject to terms and conditions of plan
