Facilities Maintenance Technician

Are you a skilled maintenance professional looking for a hands-on role in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure the functionality, safety, and efficiency of our client's building systems and equipment. If you have three years of facility maintenance experience, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a keen eye for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!

Schedule: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday

Pat rate: $20 - $23/hr. (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and structures.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural issues.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and meets safety standards.
  • Complete general maintenance tasks, including light bulb replacements, painting, and minor carpentry.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and management regarding maintenance needs and repairs.


Qualifications:



  • Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations.
