Kummer Institute Center for Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems (KICAIAS) Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated undergraduate student to join our research team for a part-time, temporary position in computational analysis related to our NSF EAGER grant, "Solving Representation Learning and Catastrophic Forgetting with Adaptive Resonance Theory" (NSF Grant #2420248). The successful candidate will work closely with a team of researchers focused on advancing the understanding and application of Adaptive Resonance Theory (ART) neural networks. The primary responsibility of the role is to contribute to the performance analysis of ART neural network models, with an emphasis on assessing and optimizing computational complexity. The candidate will evaluate and implement innovative methods to reduce algorithmic computational complexity while preserving model performance and quantify the tradeoffs between speed and performance. Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $15.00/hourly. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
