JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Department of Political Science and School of Public Policy in the College of the Liberal Arts are searching for an Academic Program Coordinator. This position will provide administrative support to the World Campus undergraduate bachelor's degree political science programs, as well as for the Counterterrorism (CTRTR) graduate certificate, and the Counterterrorism option in the interdisciplinary Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Homeland Security (HLS) online degree program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The Academic Program Coordinator will work both independently, as well as collaborate/have support of their team when completing the position's responsibilities. This position will serve as a back-up to other members of the Political Science and Public Policy academic and administrative teams to ensure adequate coverage, as needed. Education and Experience: This position will be filled at the level of Intermediate Support or Senior Support, depending on the final applicant's experience and education. The Intermediate Support level requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) for education and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional education and/or experience are required for higher-level positions. Additional Qualifications:
