How You'll Perform the Role

The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for overseeing shipping operations, ensuring efficient planning and execution of outbound orders. This role determines the most cost-effective and timely shipping methods, including Less Than Truckload (LTL) and Truckload (TL) shipments, manages replenishment orders, and provides support to the Shipping Manager. The Traffic Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining supply chain efficiency, reducing transportation costs, and ensuring on-time deliveries.



  • Plan all customer orders and Replenishments orders (RO) in TMS and creates the BOL along with shipping labels including customer pickups and UPS/FedEx shipments.
  • Coordinate and schedule carrier appointments for pickups and deliveries.
  • Coordinate returned goods (RMA's) with CSR, TMS QA and material handlers.
  • Resolve the QIN's and submits carrier claims when applicable.
  • Publish reports for prior day's shipments.
  • Assists CSR with any freight quotes as needed.
  • Check in the drivers or any visitors to the warehouse.
  • Check inventory availability and plans product moves between the various warehouses in timely manner.
  • Participate in mandatory physical inventory.
  • Completes all assigned duties before leaving for the day, including ship confirmation and invoicing.
  • Good attendance and punctuality required.
  • Ability to quickly and accurately input data into various computer software applications.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision to complete the job tasks.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to other internal. departments and shipping business partners.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Perform assigned tasks, adhering to company policies maintaining professional work environment and contributing to overall success of the organization.



What We Need From You

  • High school diploma or GED required, though a 2-year college degree is preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of work-related experience, including some experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of arithmetic and structured problem-solving tools.
  • Ability to quickly and accurately input data into various computer software applications
  • Ability to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision to complete job tasks.
  • Team player with ability to build lasting productive business relationships with suppliers, customers, management, and peers.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, transportation operations, order management, performance metrics, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the accurate, efficient reporting of data to internal and external customers.
