STS Line Maintenance is hiring A&P Mechanics at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) to support our growing station. In this hands-on role, you'll work with a dedicated team of maintenance professionals to ensure the airworthiness, safety, and reliability of a wide variety of aircraft. Job Responsibilities & Duties
- This position reports directly to the Line Maintenance Station Manager and Station Leads
- Work closely with airline partners, flight crews, and Aircraft Maintenance Controllers
- Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with FAA regulations, ADs, and company policies
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment
- Maintain the highest level of quality and integrity
- Replace defective components based on test results and technical documentation
- Use precision instruments to measure part wear and perform replacements
- Perform work outdoors and in inclement weather
- Work performed on Airbus A320, Boeing 737, 757, 767, CRJ, and Embraer 170/190 aircraft
- Other duties as assigned
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
- Must hold a current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License with no infractions
- Recent experience on turbine-powered aircraft considered a plus
- Preferred experience on 737, 757, 767, A320, ERJ 145/170/190, CRJ 700/900
- Must own a set of standard line maintenance tools (calibrated and specialty tooling provided)
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude; able to work independently
- Able to work standing, climb ladders/stairs, and lift 50 lbs. unassisted
- Must pass a background check and drug & alcohol screening
- Must be able to obtain U.S. Customs and Border Patrol clearance
- Basic to mid-level computer and organizational skills required
- Experience under FAA Part 145 repair station or Part 135 preferred
- Inspection Authorization (IA) license is a plus
- Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals and documentation
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair airframe and engine systems (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic)
- Flexible schedule-may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication, customer focus, and commitment to quality
