STS Technical Services is hiring experienced A&P Mechanics in Dallas, Texas to support a dynamic start-up MRO specializing in corporate and military heavy maintenance. Based at Dallas Executive Airport (KRBD), this full-time role offers the opportunity to help shape a fast-growing operation from the ground up.
About the Role
We're seeking highly skilled A&P-certified mechanics with at least 3 years of business jet maintenance experience. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting, inspecting, and repairing a variety of aircraft systems in a hands-on environment where quality and safety come first.
Available Shifts
- Weekday Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Weekend Shift: Friday - Monday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting on corporate and military aircraft
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and structural issues
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks, including adjustments, part replacements, and system checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers and technicians
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify problems and implement repairs
- Maintain thorough records of all work performed, parts used, and inspection results
- Stay informed on industry advancements and attend professional training programs
- Promote a strong safety culture and adhere to all established protocols
- Support shipping, receiving, and inventory operations as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
- Minimum of 3 years of corporate/business jet experience (Required)
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited aviation maintenance technician program
- Solid understanding of aircraft systems: avionics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and powerplant
- Ability to follow technical manuals and utilize maintenance tracking systems
- Strong communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills

- Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Work in varying hangar conditions including hot, cold, dusty, or loud environments
