MAA is currently accepting applications for the position of part time Employment Analyst (HR Analyst Trainee) within the Office of Human Resources at the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall Airport).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Conducting pre-employment checks and screenings as part of the new employee offer/hiring process to include Background screening, Reference Checks, Completing Driving Record Checks, Physical/Drug Screen Management & Monitoring and CDL Compliance Checks.
  • Managing the E-Verify and I-9 process to ensure compliance with employment eligibility verification requirements.
  • Distributing HRIS data for management and regular reporting (bi-weekly/monthly).
  • Managing all weekly/bi-weekly/monthly reporting for the HR Services Sections to include Bi-weekly status reports, HRIS employment report requests, employee listing reports, NEOGOV monthly EEO reporting, etc.
  • Orchestrating bi-weekly MAA new hire onboarding, serving as the HR Services liaison for all new hire processes, including paperwork, badging, training, and supervisor transition.
  • Assisting the HR Services Section with attending job fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to build relationships with potential candidates and industry professionals.
This is a part-time position located at BWI Marshall Airport in Anne Arundel County, MD.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience: None.

Notes:

1. Paraprofessional HR experience or professional HR management work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four years of the required education.

2. Candidates may substitute equivalent U.S. Armed Forces military service experience on a year for year basis for up to four years of the required education.


Licenses & Certifications

Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
