Starting base wage is approximately $20-21 depending on qualifications and experience.

Essential Functions:



  • Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new designs and to qualify new process concepts and manufacturing equipment.
  • Lead training for new employees, as well as refresher training, in the functions of conversion, screen printing, slitter operation, wire bender, spot welder and CNC table operation.
  • Serve as the lead point person on the 3D wire bender.
  • Assist in implementing process improvements to reduce operating costs as well as launching new products on the assembly floor.
  • Assist in the onboarding orientation process by going over specific work instructions relevant to conversion, various techniques in the folding and sonic welding application, and general safe practices on the production floor.
  • Assist with manufacturing costing/bid for current and future products.
  • Work with the sales team and engineering on customer sales samples and first articles to ensure timely completion.
  • Assist in continuous improvement programs using problem analysis and resolution skills.
  • Serves as subject matter expert relative to Conversion, 3D wire bender, screen printing, slitter, and CNC table operations.
  • Assist maintenance in troubleshooting equipment, techniques, and processes to improve efficiency on production floor.
  • Identify and implement process and equipment modifications to ensure the safety of employees.
  • Works independently, efficiently manage time, and use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Employ effective, respectful and persuasive spoken and written communication skills.
  • Help to ensure compliance with work instructions and/or quality management system (QMS) procedures, as well as help develop model specific work instructions.
  • Help to ensure adherence to all current company policies.
  • Help to ensure effective employee relations.
  • Maintain highest levels of ethics and confidentiality.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others including wearing mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Function effectively in a fast paced, diverse, team environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
