RECRUITING TENURED NURSING FACULTY The University of Iowa's College of Nursing (CON), ranked #4 in U.S. News & World Reports for BSN education and situated in a prestigious research-intensive R1 (American Association of University Professors (AAUP) environment, is seeking a full-time faculty member. Candidates should have a doctorate and proven history of funded research in nursing or a related healthcare field with an emphasis on implementation science. The position requires active participation in the CON's research, teaching and service missions. Additionally, the successful applicant may play a key role in establishing the multi-disciplinary collaboration between the University of Iowa Implementation Science Center and the CON. Education Requirement: |
- Earned research doctorate in nursing or related healthcare field.

Required Qualifications: |
- Demonstrated expertise in implementation science.
- Demonstrated record of accomplishment via publication in leading journals
- Evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate, and/or graduate level
- Established ability to maintain extramurally funded research program.
- If a licensed registered nurse (RN) has ability to obtain licensure in state of Iowa
- Demonstrated record of successful mentorship of students and junior faculty

Desirable Qualifications: |
- Continued scholarly achievement of high quality, accompanied by unmistakable evidence of national and international recognition as a scholar.
- Record of significant and effective service to a department, college, and/or the University and to the profession.
- Record of multi-disciplinary collaboration.
- History of securing external funding as PI or a co-PI on projects related to implementation science
- Current or previous experience reviewing implementation science grants and applications for competitive funding
- Experience mentoring on implementation science grants, providing dissemination and implementation (D&I) science expertise and supporting the professional development of future implementation scientists and practitioners
- Expertise in (D&I) methodological advising and expertise to other investigators/projects.
