Position Title: Quality Technician
Wage: $18-$25/hour Shift: Day or Night Hours: Sunday-Tuesday alternating Wednesday 5am-5:30pm and Thursday-Saturday alternating Wednesday 5pm-5:30am The Quality Technician is an active and fast-moving role, requiring someone comfortable with moving between machines, inspecting parts, and coordinating workflow. If you have a keen eye for quality and enjoy a dynamic production environment, we encourage you to apply! This is a direct hire opportunity in Delavan, WI. Quality Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform routine inspections on each machine following the FAIR inspection plan - Monitor SPC run charts for compliance, rule violations, and anomalies - Immediately report any quality or production concerns to the Machinist and/or Quality Inspector - Review and maintain inspection gaging and measurement equipment - Ensure the daily flow of parts from one operation to the next - Move completed parts to the CNC Cell Completion Rack at the end of each shift - Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold safety and efficiency standards - Work closely with Machinists and the Director of Quality to uphold production and quality goals - Actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the CNC Cell group Quality Technician Requirements: - Previous experience in quality inspection or manufacturing preferred - Basic knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control), machining processes, and quality standards - Ability to read blueprints, inspection plans, and use measurement tools - Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment - Effective communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with the team QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
