The Center for Student Engagement is comprised of 5 areas: Civic Engagement, Fraternity & Sorority Life, Student Media, the John Lewis Student Leadership Pathways, and Student Organizations. The Center empowers and supports students to catalyze belonging and create an engaging campus community. Job Summary
Provide office support services within a campus unit to include organizing and preparing correspondence, reports and other documentation; scheduling meetings and events; file maintenance, and related administrative activities; and assisting customers with their service needs. Specific duties will be determined based on assignment and unit needs. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: unit management and staff, vendors and office visitorsThis position typically will advise and counsel: NA This position will supervise: NA Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 - Responsibilities
Develop curriculum for leadership development training workshops based on the six categories of leadership outlined in the Aspen Leadership Index
Facilitate leadership development workshops for student participants in the John Lewis Student Leadership Pathways program
Promote the John Lewis Student Leadership Pathways programs to students at summer orientation programs as well as through classroom visits and tabling opportunities
Create marketing materials for fall 2025 workshops and events
Develop a marketing strategy for social media to promote the John Lewis Student Leadership program more broadly throughout campus
Meet one-on-one with students in the John Lewis Student Leadership Pathways program to discuss their progress within the program and provide leadership coaching
Complete benchmarking of student leadership programs at peer institutions
Collaborate with the Center for Student Engagement staff to plan and implement summer programming focused on increasing student engagement Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working with college students, creating leadership development curriculum, and presenting leadership content in small and large group environments. |
