Job Description

Under minimal supervision develops, implements and administers electric and gas tariffs schedules, rules and contracts. Oversees WUTC compliance monitoring and reporting. Develops and issues rate and tariff interpretations, contractual agreements and rules of service. Acts as an internal resource for interpretation of company's more complex tariff schedules and rules. Keeps abreast of any new law or regulation that affects the company's tariff schedules and rules.

Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.

Demonstrates commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develops and administers electric and gas tariffs and contracts.
  • Interprets tariffschedules and rules.
  • Supports corporate relations in resolving customer inquiries or complaints on the more complex tariff schedules and rules.
  • Ensures proposed billing and policy changes comply with WUTC regulations and Company rules of service.
  • Researches and compiles regulatory and industry reports that touch the rates and tariff's area.
  • Provides advice on interpretation of tariffs to other Company personnel.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, economics, finance, or applicable field and four years of utility experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Strong management and communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of utility regulation and tariffs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Desired Qualifications

  • CPA, MBA, PE. Knowledge of SAP.

The pay range for this position is$79,200.00-$131,700.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
