Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire a Senior Developer for our Knowledge Solutions team. The Knowledge Solutions Developer has a key role in the development and support for applications built upon the firm's internal facing Microsoft software stack as well as plan and develop robust front-end solutions and works closely with the IT Department and the broader Knowledge Solutions team.

This position will reside in our Philadelphia office with a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop SPFx (SharePoint Framework) web parts using React, PnP and Fluent UI libraries.

  • Optimize and create CI and release pipelines in Azure Pipelines.

  • Integrate applications and processes with Azure App Insights and create workbooks for visualizing trends.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to builds and deployments.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for security and reliability.

  • Ensure code quality and security standards are enforced within Azure Repos.

  • Translate design mockups from Figma into optimized code that integrates with and does not conflict with the existing codebase.

Experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required, or equivalent related experience.

  • 6+ years Microsoft design, development, and implementation experience.

  • 6+ years in developing web applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and React.

  • 3+ years using Azure Pipelines and Azure Repos to handle coordination and release of code changes from multiple engineers.

  • Experience with full lifecycle development methodologies for web-based applications.

  • Experience integrating with backend operational and content management systems.

  • Familiarity with PowerShell and Microsoft PnP products to optimize integration and user experience and knowledge of containerization and orchestration

  • Design, develop and maintain applications using SPFx and related technologies including CSS, TypeScript, React, JavaScript, JSON, and REST web services.

  • Experience managing Azure Pipelines and Azure Repos

  • Experience with SharePoint Online, Power Automate and Power Apps.

  • Experience with Web/Portal structure and design, development, content management, usability, user experience interface design and navigation.

  • Experience with utilizing source management control tools for managing multiple environments.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Feature Driven Design, Scrum).
