The Treasury Analyst is responsible for US-based cash and treasury operations, investments, short-term borrowing, financial analysis, reporting and payments. Treasury service advisor to internal partners and bank relationship liaison. Supports and manages short-term liquidity projections, working capital optimization, SOX compliance and innovative treasury projects and implementations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manages key domestic cash management activities, such as daily cash positioning and reconciliation control, execution of funds transfers, payment processing in TMS/bank portals and short-term cash forecasting.
  • Internal expert of domestic cash management and treasury operations, while supporting other Treasury Operations and global matrix teams.
  • Serves as a primary bank liaison for treasury management/operational needs including, but not limited to, bank account management, compliance and documentation.
  • Ensures compliance with treasury policies, internal controls, internal and external audit requests.
  • Manages Treasury Management System, bank portals and regulatory reporting tools.
  • Supports debt management, including accurate and timely maintenance of debt instruments, interest calculations, payments and reporting.
  • Supports other Treasury members by identifying new ideas, technologies and opportunities related to working capital optimization, fee cost savings, and to streamline/automate processes.
  • Collaborate and interact with other functions such as Accounts Payable, FP&A, Tax, Legal Affairs, Shared Service Center and other Strategic Business Units (SBUs) to execute core deliverables.
  • Manages account analysis/bank fees and treasury management agreements (where relevant).
  • Functional backup to other Treasury members.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in relevant or similar roles, preferably in treasury operations at a corporate or regional level.
  • Experience with and understanding of a Treasury Management System (i.e. Quantum) preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Prior use or understanding of SAP ERP systems is desirable.
  • Able to handle multiple competing priorities in a time sensitive and dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated and sets high standards of performance. Clearly communicates. Demonstrates professionalism, strong understanding of global treasury operations, and thrives in a diverse organization. Strives for continuous improvement, efficiency and innovation.
