Description

Starting Salary Range: $92,000.00 - $109,000.00 - position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met.

As our Senior Tariff Pricing Analyst, you will help MISO with the development of Transmission Rates, enabling MISO's Transmission Owners to be compensated for the use of their Transmission assets.

As the Senior Tariff Pricing Analyst, you will be part of the team that reviews and analyzes Transmission Owner financial data and validates against publicly available data. You will also identify key data points and use them in the development of Transmission Rates. Additionally, you will interpret and implement FERC Orders related to Transmission Rates.

You will also have the opportunity to work on process development and refinement, data analysis and be part of the implementation of the grid of the future.

In one year as our Senior Tariff Pricing Analyst, you will know you were successful if:



  • You understand the basics of how Transmission Owners make money
  • You feel comfortable analyzing and developing transmission rates for MISO
  • You understand and adhere to established procedures


We are looking for hardworking professionals who have:



  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
  • Four or more years of related work experience
  • Demonstrated detail-oriented work experience


We would also prefer candidates with the following:



  • Previous energy industry work experience
  • Previous experience in Transmission Rates and/or Transmission Settlements


Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
