E&T Translation Leader

Your Opportunity as an E&T Translation Leader

As an Interpreters and translators, you willconvert information from one language to another.Interpreters work with spoken language, while translators work with written language.

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Work Arrangements: 100% On-site, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Compensation Base Rate: $24.00/ hourly

In this role you will:

Interpreter responsibilities:

• Listen carefully
• Understand languages
• Accurately reproduce what is said
• Use technology like microphones and headphones
• Attend meetings and conferences
• Convey what is said without adding, omitting, or editing
• Communicate the style and tone of the speaker
• Consider differences in culture, dialect, and setting

Translator/Trainer responsibilities

• Translate written documents like contracts, reports, and correspondence
• Maintain the original meaning and tone
• Edit and proofread translated documents
• Reference materials like language dictionaries

What we are looking for:

Education & Trainer responsibilities:

• With area supervisor, assume overall responsibility for coordinating/facilitating training on your team
• Active member of the E&T Pillar Team
• Execute necessary department/plant training
• Evaluate effectiveness of training for your team/department
• Keep accurate records for team

Skills:

• Speak, read, and write fluently in at least two languages
• Be impartial
• Be able to accurately convey the message without altering the intended meaning interpreters and translators help people communicate by converting messages from one language to another.
