Fishbeck is seeking a full-time Site Superintendent will provide support in all aspects of assigned construction projects to ensure the project is built on schedule, within budget and within our quality standards. Superintendent will help the project manager, as well as onsite scheduling and coordination of construction activities. Applicant must be willing to travel and work in an outdoor environment. Knowledge and familiarity with water and wastewater facilities is preferred. This is a great opportunity to get experience on a wide variety of construction projects.
Primary Functions
- Prepare daily reports detailing the status of the work, including confirmation of work completed, available resources, and jobsite conditions.
- Document construction activities and verify adherence to design requirements and specifications.
- Observe construction activities to ensure work is being constructed in accordance with the Contract Documents and approved shop drawings.
- Assist Project Manager and engineers with constructability issues and Requests for Information.
- Attend Owner and Construction Progress Meetings.
- Attend manufacturer start-ups and ensure all contract and funding agency requirements are met on behalf of the owner.
Minimum Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time as needed on project sites. Ability to climb a ladder. Ability to drive a motor vehicle to reach work sites. Ability to maneuver project sites with uneven terrain. Ability to read printed materials and view a computer screen. Capable of hearing and speech to communicate. Accommodation may be made for some of these physical demands for otherwise qualified individuals who require and request such accommodation.

Trade experience or equivalent
Desired Experience
- A minimum of 10 years' experience as a superintendent with commercial construction.
- Must be proficient with basic computer skills, such as Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, etc.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 software is a plus.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with sub-contractors, field inspectors, project managers, and crews a must.
- Must possess knowledge of construction and maintenance practices, procedures and techniques as well as applicable local, state and federal building codes.
- Must be organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Safety certification-OSHA, first aid, CPR training is desirable.
- Prior construction observation or superintendent experience on water and wastewater treatment facilities is preferred.
