The Role

Assist Senior Manager, Brand Strategy & Operations in executing on-site activations to enhance the visibility of the USTA Foundation, particularly during tentpole events at the USTA National Campus. With the Senior Manager, Brand Strategy & Operations, lead the development of strategies for internal communications to raise USTA Foundation awareness with internal stakeholders (USTA National and section staff) and shepherd relationships between the two. Help source and execute unique partnerships across the tennis, sports, & youth development space to diversify our donor base (individual & corporate), particularly at the entry levels. With the Coordinator, Development & YPI, help to grow the USTA Foundation's Young Professionals Initiative in new markets, including Orlando, Fla. Provide administrative support to USTA Foundation events held at USTA National Campus, including but not limited to annual Fantasy Camp.

Aproximately 25 - 28 hours a week

The ideal candidate will have:

    Experience in sport administration, collegiate athletics, nonprofit sector, and/or live events
  • Strong proficiency in time management; ability to manage project calendars and tasks in a timely fashion, and the ability to work independently as a self-starter as well as in teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and willingness to represent the USTA Foundation at events, meetings and conferences when appropriate
  • Experience in storytelling and creative content activation is a plus, sports and live events preferredThis position is designated as "hybrid/flex" in Orlando and may allow remote and on-site work. Any such position must meet the current USTA hybrid/flex requirements, as updated occasionally. Please consult HR for the most current policy

The expected salary for this position is $20 - $23 hourly rate. This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
