Position Summary |
The Business Services Coordinator has responsibilities in budget management assistance, procurement assistance, financial tracking, reconciliation of Housing & Residence Life (
HRL), RockyCard, Student Affairs, and Dining Services financial accounts, student records management, and occupancy management. The Business Services Coordinator handles and processes a variety of information for students, parents, staff, faculty, prospective students, and families. That information includes oversight of student records management and student billing, housing application and selection, meal plan billing and refunds, RockyCard production, and reconciliation between various student information systems including Banner, Atrium, Card Exchange and
RMS (Mercury). This position also serves as primary backup for Associate Director of Housing in roles related to occupancy management. The Business Services Coordinator supervises an Office Manager position and has indirect responsibility for administrative and office operations of Housing & Residence Life. |

Minimum Education/Experience/Skills |
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills |
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of equivalent experience
- Experience in a university/college environment, specifically in Student Affairs or Housing Office strongly preferred.
- Experience with a high level of customer service.
- Experience with high volume/quality of data entry.
- Prior knowledge and experience with Banner and/or RMS.
- Experience with procurement, billing, financial tracking, accounting, etc.

Work Schedule and Hours |
Typical hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Due to the nature of position and department needs, occasional after hours, weekends, and evening work periods will be needed. All Housing and Student Life Operations staff are designated as University critical personnel. |
