Job Description

Allied Universal is looking to hire an Inventory Manager. To support and ensure success in this role, we provide a comprehensive, week-long management onboarding course designed to provide best practices, tools and guidance.

Salary Range: $53,731.20 - $63,731.20 / year

The Inventory Manager position at the client site is a multifaceted role spanning several key responsibilities for both AUS and Client business. These include:

Inventory

    Inventory control for fleet bicycles including parts ordering
  • Radio equipment auditing and service
  • Fleet vehicle management including purchasing, maintenance and repair scheduling for various kinds of transportation
  • ID and badging management
  • Complete uniform issuance for regular military as well as many custom uniforms
  • Maintain other duty related gear

Technology

  • Manage multiple complete tour systems deployed across client locations
  • Create and maintain tours, activity reports, user login etc across many clients
  • Generate and analyze data from these tour systems
  • Handle mobile device, laptop, desktop ordering and other computing needs
  • Assist with maintaining networking and printing capabilities
  • Train and equip new staff for their technology needs

Project Management

  • Assist senior leadership with short, medium and long-term project goals
  • Plan and implement large scale projects across client site (such as Security Management Technology deployment, etc)
  • Work with client directly to implement strategic plans for their businesses
  • Assist senior leadership in tracking projects to completion
  • Create charts, tables, PowerPoints for use as needed.

Maintenance Liaison

  • Work with Property Management and other vendors to ensure Client locations and other areas are maintained per scope of work
  • Regularly check condition of Client locations and report to maintenance or repair needs to vendors as required

Purchasing

  • Assist with supply chain purchasing and management for AUS and client operations
  • Manage quote, PO, invoice process for vehicle repair, equipment and uniforms

Work Hours

  • Normal business hours Monday - Friday with occasional evening or weekend work as required

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Driving Positions: must possess a valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.
