ABOUT THE ROLE

The Director, Supply Chain North America will be responsible for the end-to-end supply chain for the SC Johnson Professional North America (SCJPNA). This role will be part of the North America Leadership Team and includes overall supply chain responsibilities. This role will be responsible for the total delivered cost of SC Johnson North America P&L. This will require the delivery of key performance indicators in Service, Inventory, Forecast, Cost Savings, Logistics and New Product Execution. This role has responsibility for the North America Manufacturing sites, Planning, and Logistics teams to deliver the supply chain and business goals. This role needs to understand the business strategy and determine the strategic initiatives required to develop the operational plan to deliver the SC Johnson Professional North America goals.

This position is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the continuous performance and profit improvements of products/programs/processes within SC Johnson Professional North America.

  • Oversee all supply chain functions to assure proper deployment of resources to meet customer needs.

  • Creates a working environment that fosters continuous performance improvement and emphasizes teamwork, safety, and welfare of all team members.

  • Plans and monitors procedures and activities related to Existing Product Development (EPD) and New Product Development (NPD) to ensure program launch success as well as establishing and managing performance to budget.

  • Achieves Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Inventory performance goals which include daily management of key metrics.

  • Drives productivity through relentless focus on break through projects using Lean initiatives to drive the continual improvement of processes.

  • Supports overall business objectives by working cooperatively with other SCJP divisions and support departments.

  • Checks on the effectiveness of Operations processes, ensures consistency and standardization of processes.

  • Develops personnel through training, education and regular coaching to ensure future company objectives are achieved and lead and influence support functions and non-direct reports.

  • Work collaboratively with the NALT to address day to day executional needs and future business requirements.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related degree.

  • 10+ years of experience of progressive experience in Supply Chain.

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Past working experience in regional roles preferred.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full-Time position.

  • Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees.

  • This role is eligible for domestic relocation.
