Starting Wage: $28.61/hour + $5.00/hour shift differential

Shift: Gold, Wednesday - Friday 5:00PM - 5:00AM + available overtime

What you will do:



  • Sets up, programs and operates brake presses in accordance with outlined methods and procedures to safely and properly form various parts
  • Sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template
  • Positions work piece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade
  • Pushes button or depresses pedal to activate machine
  • Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction
  • Measures work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation
  • Adjusts on machine and programs as required
  • Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from work piece
  • Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces
  • Stacks, marks, labels and transports finished work pieces
  • May on occasion assemble subassemblies
  • Train new members on the various machines, procedures, safe work practices and any pertinent items regarding safety, quality and production
  • Responsible for maintaining the 5s program to ensure a clean work area
  • Follow and understand HOMESafe, Personal Choice and company safety manual requirements
  • Identify and rework defective work pieces to comply with quality standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling and installing sheet metal products, including machine adjustments and material requirements per engineering requirements
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Operate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks), obtain PIT License
  • All other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Ability to operate hand tools
  • Ability to read and understand written English


Preferred Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous manufacturing experience
